Tania and Kirsten competed in the Pomona Pitzer Invitational this past Saturday. They wanted to get out to run some shorter track races to get ready for the 4×800 later in the season. Kirsten and Tania both competed in the same heat in the 1500 going 4:53.11 and 4:53.50 respectively. Then Kirsten ran in the 800 running 2:30.11.
Baby Janes took to the track in this collegiate/open race as well as a break from their high school racing. Danielle Shanahan won her heat in a PR time of 4:32.88. Kayla Ferron ran 4:33.46 and Cara Ulizio ran 4:35.22. In the 800, Cara Ulizio won her heat in a PR time of 2:14.00. Amber Gore ran 2:14.03 and Anevay Hiehle ran a 2:15.68. They all sported the new pink jerseys in their heats.
