Join the Janes
The application form below is for the use of female runners who wish to be part of The Janes Elite Racing Team. Before you proceed with the application, you must meet the criteria listed. The form will be sent to our coaching staff.
The Janes Elite Racing Team has two seasons.
- Fall Season – Cross Country Aug – Dec
- Spring Season – Track Feb-June
During the Cross Country season we require:
- 2 cross country races in the USATF Grand Prix Series https://www.scausatf.
org/sports/cross-country/gp/# gsc.tab=0 - So Cal XC Championship – 3rd Sunday in November
- XC CLUB NATIONALS – 2nd Saturday in December (location alternates each year with East Coast and West Coast)
Spring Season – Track or USATF Road Races
- 2 Races in the USATF Road Racing Series https://www.scausatf.
org/sports/road-running/gp/# gsc.tab=0 - or two track races

We are looking for members who can be a team player, can balance the work/parenting/racing/training well and can make the Janes Racing schedule as one of the priorities. While being a top athlete in your age group is important to the team to have success of winning a National Title, we value our mission statement above talent.

A Jane must:
Be a woman.
Love to run.
Be ready to make the long-term commitment to a team and working hard on a consistent basis.
Attend monthly meetings.
Attend group fun runs and workouts.
Represent the Janes in races.
Volunteer/work in the running community.

1500: 4:42
5K: 17:50
10K: 36:45
1/2: 1:26
Marathon: 3:00
MASTERS 40+
800: 2:30
1500: 5:00
5K: 19:00
10K: 40:00
1/2: 1:30
Marathon: 3:10
