Lidia Garcia

Lidia is a middle distance specialist from Pasadena, CA. She started running track her junior year of high school and has been loyal to the sport ever since! She ran the 800m in college and post collegiately in New York City for the Central Park Track Club. She is now focusing on distances from the 1500m up to the half marathon. Her favorite event will always be the 800, but 5ks are a close second! What she loves most about the sport is the way it tests our bravery. Regardless of speed or experience, every runner is accepting the challenge to endure the same journey toward a more authentic self. For Lidia, running and racing is a very personal experience that can reflect so much about the lives we all lead. When she’s not running she’s working on her life coaching business, The Lust for Life. She can also be found cuddling with her two Italian Greyhounds, Luigi Carlo and Giovanni Dante. Her favorite hobbies (besides running) are listening to live music, traveling, and wine tasting.
